Dr. Wihbey is the senior clinician at SJVH with over 15 years of experience at our hospital. She takes the lead role insuring high-quality veterinary care is delivered in a caring and compassionate atmosphere for both pets and their people. In addition to her interests in preventative health, nutrition, and internal medicine she provides excellent care of pets with chronic diseases. She is certified with the Chi Institute in veterinary acupuncture and uses acupuncture and laser therapy to provide her patient's comfort and greater mobility.

She is married with three lovely daughters. Her family also includes 2 dogs, Marco and Grady, who frequently come to work with Mom. She enjoys scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, traveling with her family, and reading.

Dr. Wihbey received her doctorate in veterinary medicine and a Master's in Animal Nutrition at the University of Florida. She is a co-owner of SJVH.
