Your Partner in Pet Health

St. Johns Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1980 by Dr. Jack Shuler. He started the practice in a small house on the current location, but quickly outgrew the house requiring the construction of a new 5000 square foot hospital on the site. In 1991, Doctors Quelch and Gendzier purchased the veterinary practice and hospital from Dr. Shuler. The pair met and got married while in veterinary college at the University of Florida.

Our animal hospital continues to grow with a philosophy of academic excellence for the veterinary team. All our veterinarians strive to stay current with the latest information and procedures. At our weekly rounds discussion, our practice of medicine and surgery is constantly updated to reflect the newest information in order to provide the best possible care for your pets.

Since its inception, St. Johns Veterinary Hospital has doubled in size to 10,000 square feet and has been remodeled to provide a state-of-the-art intensive care area.
